Guardians of Wonder: Parent-Child Reflection & Assessment

A child’s imagination reveals far more than creativity. It often reveals wonder, fears, curiosity, emotional processing, and spiritual openness.

This assessment helps parents reflect on how well they understand the inner world of their child after completing Guardians of Wonder. Parents will answer questions regarding their child’s imagination, interests, sense of awe, creative tendencies, emotional engagement, and spiritual curiosity before inviting their child to answer similar questions personally.

The comparison is designed to help parents identify blind spots, assumptions, and opportunities for deeper connection. In many cases, parents may discover that their child is carrying questions, passions, fears, or wonder that has gone unseen.

Rather than merely evaluating knowledge of the course content, this reflection experience helps parents become more intentional stewards of their child’s imagination so they can cultivate an environment where wonder naturally points back to God.
