The Family Table: Reinforcing Belonging, Identity, and the Legacy We Carry

1. Begin The Shape of a Soul, and learn how to create a culture of belonging, identity, and spiritual legacy within the home. In a world pulling families in every direction, this course teaches parents how to intentionally build spaces where conversations matter, faith is reinforced, and children feel deeply known and connected. Parents will learn practical biblical principles and meaningful family rhythms that strengthen relationships, reinforce identity, and help transform the home into a place of lasting discipleship and generational impact.

The Family table Assessment

2. The Family Table assessment helps parents discover how well they are cultivating belonging, identity, and spiritual legacy within their home. Through thoughtful questions and practical reflection, parents will evaluate how intentionally they are creating rhythms of connection, conversation, and discipleship around the family table. This assessment is designed to help families identify strengths, uncover gaps, and strengthen the culture they are building together day by day.

Experience

Colossians 3:16 “Teach and admonish one another…”

The Teen Pillar experience begins with a shared family book club journey through The Advocate, creating intentional space for parents and teenagers to engage meaningful conversations around identity, justice, family, and sacrifice.

Rather than simply reading independently, families are encouraged to experience the story together through discussion, reflection, and guided conversation that helps bridge communication between generations while reinforcing biblical principles within everyday life.

Through the journey of the story, teenagers are challenged to wrestle with difficult questions surrounding truth, responsibility, sacrifice, and purpose while parents gain opportunities to disciple, listen, encourage, and better understand the emotional and spiritual world their teenagers are navigating.

The Family Book Club Experience transforms storytelling into discipleship by helping families grow closer not only to each other, but also to the truths being explored together.
