The Way of Water: Navigating Parenthood in the Rhythm of God
1. Begin The Way of Water, a foundational course introducing parents to the N.A.V.I.G.A.T.E framework: a discipleship approach designed to help parents become a spiritual compass for their children ages 6–10. In this phase, parents learn how to establish rhythms, conversations, and environments that position the home for intentional discipleship and deeper connection with their children.
The Way of Water: Parent-Child Reflection & Assessment
2. After completing the course, Take The Way of Water Assessment to discover how well you understood the principles taught throughout the course while also exploring how well you understand your child. Parents will answer guided questions about their children, then children will answer the same questions themselves so families can compare responses, identify areas of connection or misunderstanding, and begin building deeper trust, awareness, and communication together.
Let's Talk About You
3. Engage with discipleship tools like the Let’s Talk About It conversation card games to help children communicate openly, process emotions, ask questions, and grow comfortable discussing faith and life with their parents.
4. Participate in CPA family gatherings and guided experiences where parents and children practice discipleship together through interactive activities, discussions, and moments intentionally designed to strengthen connection within the home.
