God’s Best Friends: Parent-Child Reflection & Assessment
Worship becomes most meaningful when it flows from relationship rather than routine.
This assessment invites parents to reflect on how worship is being experienced within the heart of their child after completing God’s Best Friends. Parents will answer questions about their child’s understanding of worship, emotional engagement during worship moments, comfort expressing affection toward God, personal connection to prayer and music, and perception of God’s nearness.
Children will then answer similar questions themselves, giving parents a clearer picture of whether worship in the home is being experienced as performance, obligation, enjoyment, or genuine friendship with God.
The goal of this assessment is not simply to measure knowledge, but to help families create a culture where worship becomes natural, joyful, and relational within everyday life.
Through this reflection process, parents can better recognize how their child uniquely connects with God and how to cultivate deeper fellowship with the Holy Spirit together.
