Guardians of Wonder: Forming the Imagination of a Child

A child’s imagination is not empty space. It is the lens by which they see beyond this world.

Guardians of Wonder helps parents understand how the imagination of a 6-10 year old plays a vital role in spiritual formation, creativity, emotional development, and their ability to experience the beauty of God. Combining biblical understanding with insights from early childhood development data, this course teaches parents how to steward wonder instead of suppressing it.

Parents will learn the art of story telling, how to provoke curiosity, creativity, play, and meaningful conversations. This course helps parents to prepare a child’s heart for genuine encounters with the Lord. In a world competing aggressively for the imagination of children, this course provides a framework for protecting innocence while cultivating awe, reverence, and holy curiosity.
