New Name Tags: Helping Parents Shape the Identity of Their Preteens

Every preteen is searching for identity.
The question is: who is shaping the answer?

New Name Tags equips parents to intentionally form their child’s identity according to what God says about them rather than what culture, insecurity, peers, performance, or social media attempts to assign.

This course helps parents move beyond simply telling children biblical truths and teaches them how to actively shape identity through language, discipleship, correction, encouragement, culture, consistency, and spiritual formation within the home.

Parents will learn how to:

• Teach children who they are according to scripture
• Recognize and dismantle false identities and labels
• Use everyday moments to reinforce God-given identity
• Speak life in ways that deeply shape the heart and mind
• Build confidence, security, and belonging rooted in Christ
• Create a home culture where identity is continually affirmed through truth

Because identity is never formed accidentally.
It is shaped by the voices children trust most.
